Stay True to Your Values

“Stick to your guns and what’s important to you. Remember to only take advice from those who are where you want to be.”

“My advice would be to just do it. Don’t hold back as you’ll probably surprise yourself with what you can achieve.”

Support Each Other and Compete Fairly

“It is difficult to give advice to all women as I know we don’t all have access to the same opportunities. To women starting out in recruitment, I would say support each other and try to be better than the person sitting next to you—no matter what their gender.”

Never Stop Learning

“Always keep looking to train and develop yourself! No matter how good you get at something, you can always learn something new!”

Be Prepared to Make Sacrifices

“You need to be prepared and happy to make personal sacrifices and to make tough decisions. Often you must put your work first, and personal life second.”
