The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Business Development professional to drive expansion within the Japanese market and support the broader Asia-Pacific strategy. In this role, you will be instrumental in building new partnerships and generating revenue in the advanced pharmaceutical sectors of Japan.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Japan for Pharmaceutical Intermediates, API, and contract manufacturing services.

Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key players in the region, including pharmaceutical manufacturers and distributors.

Perform in-depth market analysis to uncover new trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.

Work closely with internal technical and operations teams to ensure client needs are met effectively.

Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and key client meetings.
Qualifications & Skills

A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

3–5 years of proven experience in business development or sales, specifically within the Pharmaceutical Intermediates, API, or CMO/CDMO sectors.

An established professional network and deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market in Japan.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

Full professional proficiency in both English and Japanese is required.
