Project Overview:
We are seeking a Japanese-speaking Market Access Consultant to support evidence-based market access strategies and reimbursement submissions. The ideal candidate will have experience in Japanese healthcare and HTA systems and the ability to translate complex documents, presentations, and communications from Japanese to English for cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise on Japanese market access, pricing, and reimbursement processes

  • Translate scientific, clinical, and market access documents from Japanese to English, ensuring accuracy and clarity for international stakeholders

  • Collaborate with Market Access, HEOR, and Medical Affairs teams to support global and regional access strategies

  • Support preparation of HTA submissions, payer dossiers, and stakeholder communications in Japan

  • Provide insights on local payer landscape, reimbursement trends, and pricing negotiations

  • Engage with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across Japanese and global markets

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Health Economics, Market Access, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical market access, ideally with exposure to Japanese HTA (e.g., MHLW, NHI) and payer processes

  • Fluent in Japanese and English, with professional translation experience

  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, pricing, and reimbursement in Japan

  • Excellent communication, project management, and cross-cultural collaboration skills
