Seeking a Principal HEOR Modeler to lead the design and development of innovative healthcare models, with a focus on market access and health outcomes in high-priority areas such as oncology, pharmacology and biotech. This senior technical role involves leading complex projects, mentoring a team and collaborating with clients to deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development and review of health economic models including cost effectiveness, cost utility and budget impact models.
- Provide technical oversight of model structures, assumptions, data sources and analytical approaches in line with HTA requirements and best practice guidelines.
- Oversee evidence generation activities including clinical data synthesis, economic inputs and validation strategies.
- Ensure high quality documentation including model reports, technical appendices and HTA ready deliverables.
- Act as a senior scientific contact for clients, providing strategic advice on payer evidence requirements, value demonstration and market access challenges.
- Lead and contribute to client meetings, proposals and scientific discussions.
- Mentor and develop modelling team members, fostering technical excellence and methodological consistency.
- Contribute to thought leadership through publications, conference abstracts and scientific presentations.
- Masters degree or higher in health economics or a related field (PHD preferred)
- Extensive experience in health economic modeling within consultancy, pharmaceutical or HTA environments.
- Expert knowledge of decision analytic modeling approaches including decision treed, Markov models and partitioned survival models.
- Strong understanding of HTA expectations and payer decision frameworks across key markets.
- Proven track record of leading complex projects and providing technical mentorship to modeling teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex modeling concepts into clear strategic insights.
