Barrington James appoints Nicholas Sim as Managing Partner, Board and Executive Search for the Asia pacific region

Barrington James is thrilled to announce that after five remarkable years of recruiting medical affairs professionals across Asia Pacific, Nicholas Sim has been newly appointed as Managing Partner for APAC in our esteemed Board & Executive Search division.

Since its inception in 2016, Barrington James’ Executive Search team has transformed biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, and service companies worldwide by consistently placing the most suited and impactful leaders. With over 12 years of healthcare and life sciences expertise, Nicholas has become a trusted search partner, working closely with Fortune 100 companies to place top talent. He now joins the global executive search team alongside Simon Allsop, R. Coalter Powers, and Adam J. Bloomfield, delivering retained mandates for Board, SVP, and Senior Executive appointments.

Nicholas Sim’s Track Record of Success

Previously, Nicholas led Barrington James’ APAC Medical Affairs Executive Search Practice. Over the years, he has successfully completed over 80 search mandates across the APAC region, covering Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Australia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand. Nicholas has an innate talent for uncovering in-market talent and providing clients with valuable insights on recruitment trends, organizational structures, and succession planning.
